Enabling health care providers to put patients first with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources

In the fall of 2023, Providence Health System, one of the largest health systems in the United States operating in seven states, developed and implemented Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) to support value-based care in partnership with Premera Blue Cross. The clinical data exchange platform alleviates the administrative and financial burdens of the transition to value-based care, enabling providers to prioritize quality patient care.
