Building Better Together: Actionable Insights for Public Health & Managed Care Collaboration

The Common Health Coalition is bringing together leaders from the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), Kaiser Permanente, California Department of Public Health (CDPH), California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), and others to explore how jurisdictions can strengthen collaboration across public health, health care, and community partners to advance more integrated approaches to community health. Drawing on lessons learned at national, state and local levels, speakers will discuss practical strategies for building alignment, shared infrastructure, and stronger regional partnerships that can translate shared goals into coordinated action. The discussion will highlight efforts to strengthen collaboration with examples that can inform jurisdictions working to improve health outcomes and equity in their own communities.
